Bush will sue if he loses. Will Kerry? It seems to be assumed Bush will
turn to the courts - again - if he loses. If the Kerry loses by a slim margin, will he go to the courts?

1. My own personal
belief is that if there is a "razor" thin margin either way, Bush will take this election 'cause the polls have shown everyone that he is clearly the people's choice (ick).

However, I'm praying that it will be a Kerry landslide so Bush won't have the opportunity to fool anyone into believing it is just bad election data and he has actually won the popular vote.

I keep telling myself (I'm an optimist by nature) that the true silent majority in this country want their country & rights back and will be out in droves to put Kerry/Edwards in office. Just look at the early voting numbers. In TN alone they are reporting something like 500,000 have already cast their votes. I routinely check the voting sites & the lines are not going away!

Kerry/Edwards - For a Stronger & Brighter America!!!

6. Polls don't show Bush is the people's choice- only thing they show

is that polls methodology stinks.

At best, to be precise, one might say that approximately HALF of the people polled want Bush to be president-this means that approximately HALF do not. That hardly makes him, generally *the people's choice".

2. Yeah, it all depends on how much we win by..
But it also depends on the states that we win...if we win with a lot of smaller battleground states (NM, NH, IA, now maybe Arkansas, even?) making up a large EV margin (like 30 EV's), it's going to be VERY difficult for Bush to litigate.

3. Read what John Dean has to say...
For a truly great analysis of what the post-election landscape will look like, i.e. politically, legally, and even socially, read this:

4. Dean said the litigation could go on for years. Does that will mean
Bush is still in the WH -no matter what. What is the point in having elections if the loser is still in power. I'm depressed now.

5. He didn't make that clear, but I imagine so...
which really is quite depressing. However, let's do as Dean does at the end of the article... hope for a miracle that the victory is clear cut and none of this stuff happens!
