If Bush & Kerry Were Types Of Music, What Types Would They Be?
I'd say Kerry would be classical music and Bush would be whatever sound a kazoo makes.

Your thoughts?

1. Kerry would be a blend of the best of the best: classical, classic rock,
folk, ethnic...just like America is SUPPOSED to be.

Bush would be elevator muzak...not real music, and that stolen from others. Stuff that USED to be good and is now bastardized trash not worth listening to.

Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 03:37 PM by tomfodw
I like some country music, but Bush would be one of those horrible post-9/11 "America is the best woo-hoo and anyone who doesn't snap to attention and sign up to kill ragheads is a traitor" exploitation songs.

Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 03:44 PM by DBoon
Beatles, The Who, the better of Led Zepplin, maybe even Jethro Tull. Strong, refined, complex with a populist twing. The 1960's in their more thoughtful moments.

Bush = "2nd rate country music". Superficial, derivative, provincial

On Edit:

Bush = Pat Boone, a mediocrity who made his money covering real rock-and-roll, sanitizing it for scared white suburban parents. Has produced nothing of musical value for decades, but still believs he can speak for the real America

12. Bush is
Six-inch fingernails scratching a rusty metal chalkboard in hell. Kerry is Mozart, intelligent, articulate, and always with a surprise just around the corner.

Alternately, Bush is Bloodhound Gang's "I Hope You Die," but this is a good song, so I wouldn't insult it by comparing it to Bush.

Led Zeppelin is equal parts hard and soft, always with soul and always brilliant.

Calliope music is silly, meaningless and for the entertainment of children and those with childish minds.

32. Bush is "The Minuet in G"
In The Sound of Music, the swindler Professor Harold Hill came to River City to sell the townsfolk instruments and uniforms for a boy's band. Professor Hill can't read music, he can't play and he's come up with a new way to learn to play called "The Think System." Apparently, if you think long and hard enough about The Minuet in G, you can play The Minuet in G even though you don't know the fingerings for your instrument. (And when they finally got the band together to play The Minuet in G, it sounded as bad as you'd expect.)

So Bush is The Minuet in G.

Kerry is The Ride of the Valkyries--power and finesse in the same piece.

42. Bush is the music of Joseph Pujol, dubbed "Le Petomane"
http://www.johnbarber.com/pujol.html

Frenchman Joseph Pujols was the toast of Europe in the 19th Century, attracting royalty and the rich and famous to his unique musical performances on the stage in Paris. Early in his life, Pujol discovered the ability to draw air into his anal cavity and blow it out, forming musical notes that sounded like symphonic farting. He could play operatic pieces and national anthems out of his ass.

What was the theme music of the film "Bedtime For Bonzo"? I would have liked Pujol to give Bush a royal performance out his ass for the Chimp.
