McCain Disagrees With Bush over Kerry's Understanding of the Iraq War
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=190460

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., disagreed with Bush that Kerry had "a fundamental misunderstanding" of the war in Iraq but said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show that Bush was better qualified to lead the war on terrorism, "the transcendent issue of our time."

Why does he continue to degrade himself by supporting Bush? We've read Suskind that a civil war within the GOP is nigh.

We've read now that Pat Buchanan is saying a civil war will erupt within the GOP after the election.

A uniter not a divider? And McCain still stumping for him?

Whores! The whole lot of them!

2. * is the reason terrorism is the transcendent
issue of our time, Mr. (Stockholm Syndrome) McCain. Wherever you lost your soul, can you try to find it?

3. McCain........
I just can't figure McCain out. You should see his **DISGUSTING** commericals here in Anchorage saying that Alaskans cannot hand the senate to Democrats!! It's SICK. He claims that the republican bitch who's dad appointed her, will protect Americans better than FELLOW VIETNAM VETERAN TONY KNOWLES.

It's so sad really- because McCain has done so many good things in his senate career. But I swear, he's got TWO personalities!!

He's a bigger flip-flopper than a fresh caught Alaska salmon..

Rove, Bush 41, Baker, Cheney, and the other top members of this crime family are experts at this. They make Nixon look like a rank amateur.

7. McCain is just one of Bush's lap dogs
McCain is just one of Bush's lap dogs, I just tune him out no matter what he says. After what they did to him in 2000 and now look at him. There is party loyalty then there is just bending over and taking it. He's lost all credibility.

8. McCain is an opportunist
A self-promoter like Nader, only he is smarter than Nader and seems to have different goals... Nader only wants notoriety, just wants his name out there, no matter what the context. McCain is always trying to make himself look good. That is why he plays both sides of the fence.

I have been a Democrat since age 15, but in the 2000 primary season I actually liked something about the guy. That was before it became evident what he was up to.

McCain is for himself and that's about it.

Welcome any supportive remarks he makes toward our side, but don't depend on him and you won't be disappointed.

9. I'm beginning to feel that way about him, too.
Sad that it's come to this. Esp. after everything Buscho did to him in the 2000 election. And to think I voted for McCain in the 2000 primary.

10. Mr. McCain if you believe that the war is not being handled well..
...and you are not saying all that you want; you should be ashamed of yourself. You, more than any other person are respected by the general public for your military record. If soldiers lives can be saved by your speaking out, and you are holding out, their blood is on your hands.

11. For me, a "civil war" inside the GOP would be
the icing on the cake. That will be an exhilerating thing to watch..as long as the "good" republicans come out on top and the vile, neocon fascist, RWers are tarred and feathered :bounce:
