Republican Group Accused of Voter Fraud

1 hour, 44 minutes ago

By DEBORAH HASTINGS, AP National Writer

Substitute teacher Adam Banse wanted a summer job with flexible hours, so he signed up to knock on doors in suburban Minneapolis and register people to vote. He quit after two hours.

"They said if you bring back a bunch of Democratic cards, you'll be fired," Banse contends. "At that point, I said, `Whoa. Something's wrong here.'"

He isn't alone. In several battleground states across the country, a consulting firm funded by the Republican National Committee (news - web sites) has been accused of deceiving would-be voters and destroying Democratic voter registration cards.

3. That's quite a few
'disgruntled employees', now isn't it?

I live in an independent state. We don't have to register under a Party.

Does this mean that if someone registers as "R", they HAVE to vote that way?
If that's the case, isn't that rather barbaric?

Too bad it doesn't directly indict the RNC. But at least it can take away their lietenants one at a time.

6. No surprise here.
These people know that unless the cheat and steal the election, they will LOSE.

This is, literally, the most important election of our lifetimes, people. If we let them steal this one, there may never be another fair election in the Unitest States of America again.

Yes, it's that serious.

7. Only way GOP can win is by cheating
The GOP is the part of voter fraud and Karl Rove is the master of stealing elections. This is just more proof that the GOP is going to try to steal the election because that is the only way they can win.
