The Big Dawg is a total given, and we're all hopeful about that. But who else would you like to or expect to see? Gore is scheduled to smack chimpy in a speech coming up on Monday. Will he also be on the trail? After that, we look to the primary challengers who can offer firepower. Surely, Gephardt could help in the midwest. And Lieberman in Florida (but that bridge may have been burned). Dean in Ohio, in Michigan...! Obama too.

1. Wes Clark . . .
. . . in Arkansas. Please, if anyone here has any connections to the K/E campaign effort, nationally or in AR, I beg you to promote an Arkansas visit. The polls are tied and the state's six votes make it very, VERY significant in the electoral math.

4. All those endorsers
Those couple hundred scientists, economists, military people, and all the rest. On stage all at once with big signs "Bush Is Batshit!". It really will take that I think.

9. I couldn't agree more!

But we need everyone:

Al Gore has found his fighting voice & he's a good reminder of how elections can be stolen;

Wes Clark is a hallmark example of how a leader can be knowledgeable, strong, & decent all at the same time. His word & association with Kerry goes a long way;

I'd like to see some of the conservative Republican congressmen come out in the open to endorse Kerry;

I'd like to see Walter Cronkite on a message tour about how our media has gone astray.

And, Big Dawg needs to be out front & center, of course!!!

And where in the hell is Al Sharpton? I miss him!

5. This may seem weird but...
how about Warren Buffet, the "Oracle of Omaha"? He's something like the second or third richest guy in America and has come out in support of John Kerry. Not only that, he gets money from me every month. He owns Mid-American Energy, which powers this computer, as well as the tv, cd player, well the whole damn area.

12. Sigh. Wish she hadn't ok'ed the Gropinator. WTF.
I reflexively add that to every post about Oprah because I moved to the SF Bay area to get away from fascist America and he then became my governor like some SNL skit gone wrong.

10. JON
STEWART!!!! He would be great at rallies! Can you imagine? After his unloading on the corporate media yesterday, it's the next logical step! I'd love to hear him out there warming up the crowds for K and E!

13. Dean was in Colorado on Thursday. (I missed it--had to work.)
We've had a lot of action around here from Kerry, Edwards, Dean, and others. Kerry himself has been here quite a lot, whether he is on an official campaign stop or just resting and enjoying our beautiful weather before a debate.

Early voting starts the day after tomorrow, and I suspect that Colorado will take advantage of it to a large degree, so I don't expect to see a lot more campaigning here (or in many other states).

There may be some last-minute campaigning, but people's minds are made up. They're voting now (absentee) or will vote in the next two weeks (early voting)--or they will follow what is now chiefly tradition and vote on Nov. 2.

One heck of a lot of people across this country will vote during the next two weeks.

15. Wes Clark!!!
Wes Clark in Arkansas

Wes Clark in New Mexico

Wes Clark in Colorado

Wes Clark in Nevada

Wes did well in the Southwest; & of course Arkansas is a given.

I would also send Wes to West Virginia...a military man can make a difference there.
