James "Freakball" Dobson confirming the homosexual intolerance wedge lives
As babyjeezus Shammity keeps harping on Kerry's Mary Cheney reference, seems that the wackos on the right are starting to show their true colors. Their bigotry cannot be contained to the "dirty tricks" TP.

Dobson just annouced that it wasn't as much that Kerry referred to Cheney's daughter, it's that he said it's actually a choice (rather than a sin)."

1. The right will drive itself crazy

over this. The Cheneys is the right's poster family. It freaks them out they have a daughter who is a lesbian. Mary didn't even join her family on stage at the RNC convention after her father's speech. The Cheneys are ashamed of her, and the fundies go bananas thinking about a lesbian in the happy family.

:bounce:

2. Kerry will NOT be running an ad about Mary Cheney
He WILL be running an ad with bush* saying he "doesn't think about" OBL and where he is.

What do you think Kerry wants us to talk about?

If all the right-wing cable pundits are talking about Mary Cheney, you can be sure it's because the RNC *WANTS* them to talk about Mary Cheney. That's why they pay them.

So why are you talking about Mary Cheney for free?

4. Point well taken. I was of the 'let the nonsense distractions die"
mindset also. It's all about perspective. But this take on it just deserved attention. I simply don't think they can reign in and contain their hate to the "outing" TP. That, to me, is the point.

That being said, looking forward to a DNC production of the OBL chimp gaffe.

3. This Hateful Reptile Cannot Even Get His Charge Right
Sen. Kerry said quite clearly he did not feel it was a choice....

The Crawford coward, the man of great faith and Christian principles, was not willing to state clearly before the people of the country his agreement with the reptile Dobson's belief.

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTASRDS!"

5. I love how bigots treat gay people like dumb animals
who don't know any better. Nearly every gay person will tell you that they didn't choose their sexuality. But why ask them? Certainly straight people know the truth. Just the same as they chose THEIR sexuality.

6. Kerry suggested it was not a choice--finding what you were born to be
thus, beyond free will and probably beyond 'sin'

7. I almost think Kerry specifically pointed out Mary on purpose
to get the right to hammer out their insecurities on this issue. If someone like Limbaugh and Drudge added their names to the openly gay community, then I think you could see a war of sorts within the Republican party on gay marriage acceptance.

8. you'd have to be bisexual yourself to think it's a choice
I suspect all these right-wingers are bisexual
