7. Err, hubby does that when I talk to him.
It's because he's hard of hearing. Bush is at the age that he might not want to admit that he is. It could be possible that the pack on his back and earpiece was a hearing aid and his camp didn't want people to know this. Silly, isn't it? They could kill that rumor by telling the truth and being open about it, but they are so used to lies and deception that they don't know how to be honest and forthright.

10. Possible, but...

I think it's more likely that his advisors instructed him to strike a pose in order to avoid all the fidgeting and eye-shifting we've seen in previous debates.
