Our neighbors are now voting for Kerry
We've never talked politics with them but this Saturday my husband invited them over to see our new cabinets and when he was issueing the invite, he started talking about Kerry and *. He is so excited that he is knowledgeable in this area and angry about what he is seeing that he is talking to anyone who will listen. He went to see Al Franken and to the Edwards rally and is voluntering. Anyway, they came over on Sunday and when it was just me and my friend I said I guess Greg had a few things to say about *. She said she was so happy that he told them this stuff cuz they had no idea how bad things had gotten. Anyway, she works in a factory type setting and the people there are the ones who believe the swift vote ads ect., but they will trust her. So maybe we got a bunch more.

Also, at a wedding celebration my brother (die hard republican, retired military and an ass in life anyway) told my other brother to tell that joke about the Walking Eagle Award. The punch line was * was too full of shit to fly. I could not believe my ears.

So, that is our part of the effort.

3. Excellent! BTW- the author of that joke
is Native American comedian Charlie Hill. I heard him tell it in the Spring of 2002, at an awards ceremony in Beverly hills celebrating Native Americans in the arts. It got loud, STANDING applause!

4. Great to hear
It is so hard for everyday people such as your neighbors to be able to get real news. Once they do however it floors them and they feel they need to do something about it.

5. Thank you all
It is scary to reach out like that, especially with neighbors who I love dearly. I told them to watch F911 and she said they were definitely going to do that.
