Guess Bush should invite those "folks" on down to Crawford for a BBQ since he keeps calling terrorists "folks"

1. New advert here
http://georgewbush.com/News/MultiMedia/VideoPlayer.aspx?ID=1077&T=5

The interview with the NYT was unfortunate, but I don't think the advert itself is that powerful. * seems to have changed the tone he uses for his approvals.

6. WE WILL FEEL SAFE WHEN Terrorist are thought of as a nuisance.
Good Grief - will the media ever call Bush on his misquotes on Kerry?

Does anyone ever check the actual article?

Our not controlled by the right wing GOP - they just act like it - media.

10. Is that the true quote?
Edited on Sun Oct-10-04 08:32 PM by Roland99
Wow!

Kerry was right.

"this is the most corrupt, lying...."

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/10/bush.kerry.terror/
The article, a largely analytical cover story in the magazine, says the interviewer asked Kerry "what it would take for Americans to feel safe again."

''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,'' the article states as the Massachusetts senator's reply.

2. Too stupid I think
I think the ad is so stupid, people will know it's a lie. I think they've gone to that well one too many times.

3. Overkill?
So, from here on in, the Bush campaign is mostly a smear campaign with a touch of last minute reactions to all the failures and lack of this and that? Sign a tax bill here, suggest an exit strategy there.

Perhaps the CIA's rebellion will counter that but good?

4. Bush Said We Can't Win War On Terror. And Called Terrorists FOLKS!
And also said finding Osama isn't the main focus in the war on terrorism.

7. It seems pretty halfhearted.
No real footage of Kerry saying what they claim he said.

The "global test" freakout they had last week didn't really stick, either.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning. Or the evening. Any time of day, as long as it's coming from the bush camp.

11. The problem is that other than gibbering like an idiot on speed,
Bush never says anything worth quoting.

9. Bush's quotes
Use his words against him.

Bush: "I don't spend much time thinking about Osama Bin Laden"

Announcer: Obviously not Mr. President. You diverted troops from Afghanistan to go after non-existent WMD's. You promise Osama Bin Laden Dead or Alive. Another broken promise.

Bush "I don't think you can win the war against Terrorism"

Announcer: Is that anyway to talk about the troops. The President is demoralizing the troops by saying we can't win a war on terrorism.

Announcer: How can you be a tough leader when you break promises and demoralize our troops? How can you be a capable leader if you only see black and white? How can you be a good leader when you lie? How can you be a good leader when you divide a country.

Written in white with large type.

The Answer.... you can't

Add your own commercial lets help the DNC use Bush's words against him.
