Anyone notice that after Bush called Kerry, Kennedy
and the most liberal senator that Kerry basically called "Compassionate Conservative" a bunch of bullshit, not in those words, he gave citations to things the adminstration has done.

2. I wish Kerry would have said
Mr. President, my name is John Kerry not Edward Kennedy, I think you can tell the difference between me and my colleuge. It would have been kind of funny but then again Kerry needs all the time he needs to rebutt the idiot and he did.

3. Yes sir
It would have done my heart good if Kerry would have said compassionate conservatism is a load of bullcrap (in those words) and then gone on to list the reasons why. But Kerry is a civil man. I think he responded well.

5. Or he could say...
..."Is 'compassionate conservative' a way to try infer 'liberal Republican' without saying 'liberal'? Because I've known liberals and compassionate people, and you sir, are neither."

6. The Reason Kerry Remained Silent
was that the reference made no sense unless you were a political junkie...

People at home were probably asking themselves what Ted Kennedy has to do with this....
