Tomorrow Night
I want John Kerry to refer to Bush as "My opponent".
I am sick to death of Bush not having enough respect
to call him by name. Senator John Kerry!!!

Does the Dim Son think that by not doing so, it somehow
makes him appear superior?

Can you imagine how confusing it would be to Dubya
if JK would just make that one small adjustment?

Especially, if he is wearing the earpiece...

:kick:

1. Au Contrare...I'd Lay It On Big Time
If Kerry can master the way Brian Williams say "THIS President", it'd be a delight...and he came awfully close in the last debate.

Let the people know that THIS pResident screwed up everything. Let the people look at this pResident...without his handlers and adoring crowds nearby...then ask if this man is worth to be President.

The last thing we need is to direspect the office we so covet. Just because there's a squatter doesn't diminish it's value...and one day we're gonna want that same respect from the vanquished.

2. You're right...
It's just that I heard Bush's speech for the umpteenth time today, and it got me riled up.

4. it's politics 101 that you say "MY opponent" rather than
mention him/her by name. If you re-watch the first debate you wouldn't have seen John Kerry mention Bush by name even once.

ALso, I thought it was cool how Edwards couldn't shut up about "John Kerry this, John Kerry that..." whereas it was the exception if Cheney ever mentioned BUsh by name.

Of course, it's rather strange having the VEEP candidate debating the sitting and growling president.

5. That was great, what Edwards did! "John Kerry this, John Kerry that"!
I loved it! He seemed so proud of John Kerry! He even refused to follow Gwen Ifill's stupid rule about not mentioning him by name. (I suspect that the second time he made the mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing.) He really took advantage of the fact that the shrub has become a liability to the republican campaign.

6. He made it clear
That once they were elected, it'd be the president in charge, not the VP. Unlike now.
