7. No, I want a lawn that will stand up to anything!
If it will stand up to a crash of a fully fueled 100 ton commercial airliner! it will stand up to kids and chickens too! I wonder if it ever needs mowing?

4. Saw That A Few Years Ago
Killtown's site, whoever Killtown is.

Used to be on Yahoo (may still be) promoting the site. I think the URL has changed, but the same concept, "The Amazing Pentalawn"

It is an interesting question.

But I'm sure this thread will soon be relegated to the dungeon of 9/11 forum

18. Amusing. Also a new Pentagon 9/11 video has been released.
Not sure how accurate all that was, but it was worth a click.

Here's the newest Pentagon security camera video. This one should clear up the controversy:

27. Wait. So, we can clearly see the tire tracks left by the fire trucks....
Yet there isn't a single mark left by a fully-fueled jetliner plowing into the building 5 feet above the ground? I'm confused. Didn't the eyewitnesses claim the jet hit the ground first and skidded into the building? Not on that lawn it didn't. Not unless it skipped across.

Hit the ground, others say it cartwheeled into the Pentagon, still others said
It did not hit the ground at all.

28. I hate pentalawn!
It was hard enough keeping grass out of my garden before they got there damned pentalawn next door. That damned pentalawn stuff, you can't weed, fire doesn't touch it, and it totally ignores roundup. Sure, people say it looks nice, but try to replace a pipe when it breaks. Since crashing plane won't dent it, a shovel isn't going to touch it. And talk about invasive, it's put runners right into my phone lines.

Recommended!

32. I have had my doubts about this site also
It contains some of the extreme theories (hologram, no planes, etc.) that seem far-fetched and impossible to prove.

33. Oh my that is so old. Look at this pic.
There is clearly a rise in the lawn. Look at the whole picture. Fuel explosion clearly carried into building by momentum. If it was a missle there would be more debris/damage on lawn as High explosive has a much greater detonation velocity than jet fuel.

You make a great argument against a bomb/missile.

Also if you look at aerial views you can see much of the burn dammage was directed to the left of the entry hole, due to the fact that the plane did not hit the facade square but at an angle.

34. Can you show me some evidence why a missile would send
debris in a more radial pattern, then a directional pattern?

Sorry I like to see what people are talking about....

Take a look at the NIST report page 32, they actually show the damage path caused by an airplane crash to get smaller.

I don't know about the rest of you but I never seen anything crash apart into a tighter damage path.

Tomohawk BGM-109 Cruise Missile.

Warhead: Conventional: 1,000 pounds Bullpup, or
Conventional submunitions dispenser with combined effect bomblets, or
WDU-36 warhead w/ PBXN-107 explosive & FMU-148 fuze, or
200 kt. W-80 nuclear device

with a high explosive warhead WOULD leave a pristine lawn...but not an airplane?
