Why was this CNN pentagon plane footage released?

Was there a reason for this? or was it released to help *'s falling poll numbers?

It seems like whenever he is getting dogged or about to(see Rove indictment) something pops up related to terror(see OBL tapes)

I have more patience for people who ask innocent questions than folks who lecture others to go about things a different way.

There are times I have the luxury to research on my own and other times I need an expedited answer from someone who has already got the information. Questions like yours don't phase me at all.

The video they released has been on the Internet for a while.

They have more videos from different angles. Why not release the rest? It should be part of documented history and not secret.

what's been online has been a series of frames from the footage. this is just the actual footage without breaks. call me crazy, but there's no plane in the footage.

what frame rate do surveillance cameras typically record at? would the speed of a jetliner be so fast as to only appear in-between frames?

Did I just hear Wolfie correctly on CNN?...
...Did he say the Pentagon has admitted removing some frames from the footage of that security camera showing something hitting the Pentagon? Unless I heard wrong, he went on to state it was because the image it did capture would likely have fueled conspiracy theory and they didn't want to do that. Then he just moved right on like that was nothing unusual or worthy of any additional comment, not even a pause.

Someone tell me I just dreamed what I saw on CNN. INCREDIBLE.
