1. Unbelievably sad ...

One of the few times in my life I was deeply moved by conceptual art was Jenny's 1989 installation at the Guggenheim. I had just returned from living two years overseas, in a third world country that had both an authoritarian government and a low intensity civil war. I was invited to go see the exhibit at the Guggensheim and it just blew me away.

I can't believe she is doing this. I guess she is old and washed up, and out of ideas, and has no more fire in the belly.

It's incredibly sad.
