I'm starting this thread for PRETZEL who posted the below post in the thread about James Baker III and his sister. How do we find out if there's a connection between Pamela Pitzer Willeford and Lt. Cl. William Pitzer who was assassinated by the CIA as a result of the JFK assassination?

the other woman who was there was Pamela Pitzer Willeford. I'm usually not one for conpiracy theories and the like, but this is just a little too rich if there's anything too it.

I have no idea if there's a connection, but is it possible that Pamela Willeford's father was one Lt Cl. William Pitzer who was apparently (some claim) assissinated by the CIA as a result of the Kennedy Assination.

and here's the story on Lt. Col. Pitzer...except this says BRUCE Pitzer :shrug::

* Dan Marvin, a retired Army Lt. Col. and a former member of the Army Green Berets, has publicly stated, on film, that he was offered money to kill Navy Lt. Cmdr. Bruce Pitzer, who was later found shot dead in his office at Bethesda Naval Hospital (in 1966), where the autopsy was performed. Marvin should be deposed and asked to submit to a polygraph examination. Lt. Cmdr. Pitzer was in attendance at President Kennedy's autopsy and took footage of the body. Mrs. Pitzer has said that her husband "had parts of the autopsy that they wanted destroyed." Dennis David, a former Navy officer, knew Pitzer well and saw slides from the footage that Pitzer took. According to Mr. David, Pitzer's footage showed evidence that Kennedy was shot from the front. Pitzer's death was ruled a suicide, but Pitzer's widow scoffs at that finding, as does Mr. David. Many researchers believe Pitzer was murdered to suppress the film he made at the autopsy. Harrison Livingstone was finally able to obtain a copy of the report Pitzer's autopsy. The report says nothing about gunpowder burns, but if Pitzer had shot himself there would have been a pattern of burns on his head and even on his clothes. Not only should Dan Marvin be deposed, but Lt. Cmdr. Pitzer's death should be reinvestigated.

3. You would need to look at old newspaper articles.

And, unfortunately, very few newspapers have archived their papers electronically that long ago. Obits will include the name of the survivors in the family. And newspaper articles will give a historical background on the individual.

You would do better to refer this to either Brad blog, or Robert Parry, or maybe even Madison. They already have a lot of the loose threads committed to memory, and might be able to answer your question quickly.

When I went to search for some more info, I found the story I posted and they call him "Bruce", not William. A researcher could find out which it is though.

This is an uncanny connection. BFEE connected to a Pitzer....Daddy Bush connected to the JFK assassination and another Pitzer is connected to THAT???? What are the odds? Pitzer is not that common of a name, like Smith or Jones is. Honestly. This is freaky.

if not, deceased. Thanks stop! If there's a geographical gap then they're probably not related at all...cousin, niece, grandaughter? I doubt it. Unless we can find out where he was born. If it was Texas, they could be related distantly, but it sounds like he's from DC? What are the odds of this though? Someone named Pitzer was involved in the JFK assassination investigation and another Pitzer is connected to the BFEE? Honestly...is the world as small as I am beginning to feel it is?

13. we are all related, the only way I could see it is if he had sibblings

that were no longer alive when he died but they had offspring(cousins), or if his mother had a sibbling and they had offspring and then Pamela(second cousins). Pamela probably is related to William/Bruce but not directly.
