7/7 and 9/11: Many striking parallels
7/7 and 9/11 : Too many parallels by Team8+
Surprisingly there are many striking parallels between 9/11 and 7/7.
Comment to the moderator: Please not that this thread is about the London bombing. There is nothing new revealed about 911 here. Only the parallels will be put to discussion. Therefore I kindly ask you not to transfer this thread to the 911 section.
Here a short list of the parallels:
(I wont give the sources for 911. They are well known. If anybody needs sources please let me know)


Exercises that took place before and show strong parallels to what actually happened:

The list for 911 is well known.
One equivalent for 7/7 is Exercise Atlantic Blue.
Washington sources have revealed that the biggest transatlantic counter-terrorism exercise since 9/11 which included 'bombs' being placed on buses and explosives left on the London underground - raised fears over the vulnerability of 'soft targets' in the capital.

Exercise taking place the same day:

This again is old stuff concerning 911.
On 7/7 it is undisputed that Visor held a bombing drill in London Underground.
POWER: At half past nine this morning (7/7/05) we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now.
HOST: To get this quite straight, you were running an exercise to see how you would cope with this and it happened while you were running the exercise?
POWER: Precisely, and it was about half past nine this morning, we planned this for a company and for obvious reasons I don't want to reveal their name but they're listening and they'll know it. And we had a room full of crisis managers for the first time they'd met and so within five minutes we made a pretty rapid decision that this is the real one and so we went through the correct drills of activating crisis management procedures to jump from slow time to quick time thinking and so on.

And let it be repeated:
simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning.

Peter Power repeated this on CBC and even wrote an email in response to researchers:
It is confirmed that a short number of 'walk through' scenarios planed well in advance had commenced that morning for a private company in London (as part of a wider project that remains confidential) and that two scenarios related directly to terrorist bombs at the same time as the ones that actually detonated with such tragic results. One scenario in particular, was very similar to real time events.
However, anyone with knowledge about such ongoing threats to our capital city will be aware that (a) the emergency services have already practiced several of their own exercises based on bombs in the underground system (also reported by the main news channels) and (b) a few months ago the BBC broadcast a similar documentary on the same theme, although with much worse consequences.
It is hardly surprising therefore, that we chose a feasible scenario - but the timing and script was nonetheless, a little disconcerting.



Identification papers survive mysteriously:

The story of Al Suqamis passport surviving the attack of the WTC and being found even before the WTC collapsed is already a legend. In London all four alleged bombers somehow left identifications at the site of the bombing (they, too, survived all destruction):

Mohammad Sidique Khans ID was found at Edgware Road blast site.

In one case one alleged bomber even left papers at two different locations:
Property of Suspect 3 was found at Liverpool Street and Edgware Road (two different blast sites) .

Security Cameras that dont work:

On 911 Security Cameras in Portland Jetport at the check-inn didnt work. And somehow there are no images from Boston and Newark Airport.
On 7/7 all four security cameras in Bus No. 30 didnt work. Bad luck.

Timeline:

On 911 the crash time of AA 77 and UA 93 are/were in dispute. (Not to mention the take off times). Strange that on 7/7 the third blast was reported as having taken place 26 minutes (!) after the first one. Now the official version is that all three blasts happened within 50 seconds.

Return tickets:

On 911 Attas miles-and-more program and two hijackers buying tickets for flights days after 911 puzzled every researcher.
On 7/7 all four alleged bombers bought return tickets.

Suspect was surveilled and then got lost:

The fact that before 911 suspects were surveilled, allowed into the country and then somehow got lost are well known. Same happened in UK:
A man whose name was on a police watchlist entered Britain two weeks before the blasts but was not kept under surveillance.

Bomber was surveilled and then got lost:

Well known for 911.
For 7/7:
Yesterday, it was claimed that Lindsay was tracked by FBI agents when he visited relatives in America.
British officials had asked the US to keep tabs on him while he stayed with family in Cleveland in 1994 and 2000.
At that time, his mother Mary reportedly lived in the city and has since remarried.
During the 2000 visit, the FBI put him under close surveillance.
He entered the US despite being on a terrorist watch list, but on his return British intelligence allegedly lost track of him.
One official said: "He was on the radar, then he was off the radar."

Warnings:

Many, many warnings were made to the US before 911. Same happened before 7/7:
Time magazine claimed this week that American intelligence officials had warned their British counterparts two months ago that al-Qaida planned to bomb the transport network in London.

Insider Trading
Reasons for the suspicion of insider trading in the days before 911 is well known though no investigation ever came to a clear result.
The parallel to 7/7 might be that around 10 before 7/7 the British Pound fell approximately 6%.

I lake the professional skill to come to conclusions yet as theses issue is another parallel between 911 and 7/7 its added.



No investigation:

And of course we cant forget that in both cases the head of the State immediately declares that there wont be any investigation of what happened as there is no need and it would only hinder the fight on terrorism.
BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair today will dismiss calls for an inquiry into the London terror attacks.
The Conservatives have called for a probe to see if anything could have been done to prevent the bombings.
But the Prime Minister will use a Commons statement to underline his confidence in the intelligence services and reject demands for an inquiry.

Several issues raised in this thread seem to raise suspicion about what really happened on 7/7 in London. I dont say in any way that the official explanation is wrong. Only that in the light of the presented material an independent investigation should be favoured.

5. Convenient Proofs
Do you remember the car the alleged hijackers left at Boston Airport that contained many proofs?
Same thing on 7/7:

It appears that the four, described by security sources as "cleanskins" - with no convictions or known terrorist involvement - reached their rendezvous via two or three hired cars, one of which had been located yesterday at Luton station. Explosives were found in the car, police revealed last night.

Why leave explosives in the car the directly links back to you?
Either you also bomb Luton station or you don't leave a trace but this ....

6. I found an AP story in my local paper that said that bomber Khan
had been investigated by MI5 previously. Although OF COURSE, they didn't keep track of him after that!
