Israel launches new operation in Gaza Strip

Israeli forces have mounted a new incursion into the Rafah refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.

A military spokeswoman says soldiers were looking for tunnels being used to smuggle arms from Egypt and to hunt down Palestinian militants.

At some point the IDF will run out of names for their continual operations. I'm waiting for the sequels to start coming, like 'Operation Defensive Shield II - Back Yet Again With Even More Vengeance To Continue The Cycle Of Blame For The Cycle of Violence'. Or they might slip up one day and call one what it really is: 'Operation Let's Shoot Any Civilian That Moves.'
