Security fence likely to be rerouted
The PMs bureau chief met with NSA Condoleezza Rice on Thursday. They discussed the security fence and Sharons disengagement plan.
Shachar Liali

Dov Weisglas, head of the Prime Ministers office, met with U.S. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice Thursday night.

The meeting focused on the route of the security fence and the Prime Ministers disengagement plan. Israels ambassador the the U.S Danny Ayalon and Shalom Turgeman, the Prime Ministers political advisor, were also present.

Weissglas told Rice that the route of the fence is about to change. This according to him is to minimize enroachment into heavily populated Palestinan areas, and avoid impacting their infrastructure and economy as much as possible. They also discussed Israels plan to unilateraly implement the road map due to the lack of Palestinian involvment in the process.
