Jordan raps Israel over killings

JORDAN sharply criticised Israel today over the weekend killing of four Palestinians by Israeli troops in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

"The Jordanian government denounces the crimes of the Israeli army committed over the past two days in Nablus," Foreign Minister Marwan Moasher said, according to a Petra news agency report.

Four Palestinians, including three teenagers, died over the weekend after being shot by Israeli troops during an army operation in Nablus.

One of the victims was shot during a funeral procession for three others who died, including a 15-year-old boy killed when Israeli troops fired on stone-throwing demonstrators in the city's old quarter.
