Lieberman: Israel won't make any more compromises
Foreign minister tells faction meeting Israel's goal should be "to take down Hamas," says "they must be taken down as soon as possible."

Foreign Miister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel will not make any additional compromises or concessions to the Palestinians in peace talks, speaking at an Israel Beiteinu faction meeting on Monday.

The Palestinian leadership "spoke with former prime ministers Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert without demanding a settlement freeze," he said, asserting that the PA leadership should do the same with the current government.

Lieberman said that the current government took a number of clear steps in the two and a half years it has been in power, and mentioned that Israel Beiteinu accepted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Bar Ilan speech and that the government had agreed to the Quartet's stance.

1. What was the last significant compromise Israel made to Palestinian peace talks?
I don't count a postponement of building new settlements or taking new land as that's status quo and forebearance of "progress".

4. Ah, the good old "might is right".
The corollary, of course, being that if we can force Israel to do something, that's alright too.

5. Lieberman understands that the PA constantly moves the goal post
with each concession Israel makes, the PA demands more.
