For the sake of peace Poland and Germany accepted new borders.
Jordan surrendered their claim to the West Bank. They all lost traditional lands. If the violence can stop the rich nations can pour money into the West Bank and Gaza to increase the standard of living. This is the only solution that I can see,but it will be far in the future.

3. I wish also for peace.
A good agreement is one that everyone is equally unhappy about but gives enough good stuff to each. I fear for the generational fighting to continue and wish it wouldn't.

4. peace will require more than just the cessation of violence...
...or an influx of money into the occupied territories. There is no Palestinian state at present-- peace will require a just negotiation of honorable statehood under genuine Palestinian control, not a semi-state functioning only as an Israeli client.

5. But it is the only way to start any sort of peace.
The devil will be in the details. Both sides have to stop taking jabs at the other, which just continues this cycle.

6. The rich nations have weapons manufacturers to feed
If the violence stops, they won't have the money to influence foreign policy to make sure the violence continues, or fund media efforts to demonize the victims.

7. its not just a money issue...
if it was that simple then the "gazans" would be busy with their economy instead of lobbing missles into israel, digging tunnels and now kidnapping a soldier. They had ready to go greenhouses with an established market...all destroyed, part after the israeli withdrawl, and more further on by the palestenians themselves....
