Israel hints at military action against Iran
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=5fd04f182b5c5a5d

Israel is expressing growing concern about Iran's nuclear capabilities and is hinting at a military option.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon says Israel cannot tolerate a situation in which Iran will become a nuclear power. He told a news conference that Iran poses a great danger, and not only to the Jewish state.

"A nuclear Iran poses a global threat," Mr. Sharon said. He added that Israel is not spearheading efforts to block Iran from becoming a nuclear power, and that the international community must take the lead.

4. Israel had more U.N. violations than did Iraq
and we are already shipping our taxes to Israel by the boat load. They can find peace.

Our military can't support more troops in the Mid East.

7. excuse me, for my benefit would you elaborate on the more U.N. violations
that Israel had over Iraq?

In addition, we are shipping our taxes to Egypt and quite a few other middle eastern and Asian countries.

When Iraq says a month ago they will wipe Israel off the map, Israel responds with this. Is it tough talk or real?

Our military shouldn't even be in the middle east.

The most helpful thing for middle east peace is for ALL COUNTRIES TO STOP SHIPPING ARMS TO ALL PARTIES, but that isn't going to happen

10. We are sending gazillions of petrodollars to Saudi Arabia
where it is being "recycled" into bordellos and casinos and "charities" -- and from the charities to Madrasas and terrorists. See Unger, House of Bush/House of Saud.

And what is Bush's base doing - pushing for taxes to discourage fuel efficient cars, , . I guess because we cut revenues too much on the fat cats.

11. The nuclear campaign issue
Haaretz does not really oppose the strike against Iran, they just want to prepare for it quietly. The problem is, this strike really makes no sense. So, the whole idea is to use it as a propaganda weapon.

The nuclear campaign issue http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/654088.html

The election campaign has barely begun and MK Benjamin Netanyahu has already managed to drag into it one of the most sensitive security issues: Iran's ceaseless efforts to develop nuclear weapons.
Whoever publicly recommends an Israeli military option sins doubly. He incites the Israeli public unnecessarily; presents Israel as pushing the U.S. into a major new war; drags this sensitive subject into the overheated rhetoric of an election campaign; and invites Iranian threats and various anti-Israel reactions. Israel must go about making its preparations quietly and securely, not at election rallies.
