The victim told officers that Jett became angry and told her to leave the house. She was attempting to get some personal items to leave for the night when the suspect grabbed her and said “Ya’ll want to see how crazy I can get?�

Jett's mother told the victim to run. The victim began to run from the home towards a wooded area when she heard 8-10 gun shots.

During a search of the home a .22cal handgun and two spent casings were recovered. Jett was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he was charged with attempted murder, domestic vandalism, tampering with evidence and felon in possession of a firearm.

Jett has multiple felony convictions out of Georgia. Jett is being held on $175,000 bond and is scheduled to be in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday 5 p.m.
