Man allegedly shoots gun in bar, points gun at officer

A man was arrested on Monday just after midnight on allegations he shot a gun several times at a strip club and pointed the gun at an officer, according to arrest reports.

Billy Phillips, 29, was booked into the Tulsa Jail about 6 a.m. on complaints of shooting with intent to kill, pointing a deadly weapon, reckless handling of a firearm, possession of firearm while intoxicated and others, records show.

Police report Phillips allegedly fired several shots into the ceiling and floor at Night Trips at 3902 S. Sheridan Rd.

He then allegedly fired at least one shot while outside the bar at a man, narrowly missing him, police report.

I assume he was a concealed permit holder, otherwise what is the point of this story?

If he doesn't hold a permit, he's just another criminal thug with a gun, right?

And any comparisons of him with law abiding citizens with permits would be just really stupid, right?

in the leg at a NY nightclub with an unregistered gun. Seems we have laws about that already, criminals don't pay attention to them.
