Texas CHL Conviction Rate lowest ever

The Texas DPS just released their reports on the number of CHL holders convicted of crimes in both 2008 and 2009.

I took the number of crime convictions and the number of CHL licensees and derives the rate per 100,000 CHL holders.

I took the number of crime convictions by those over 21, and the number of population over 21 and derived the rate per 100,000 general population over 21.

For 2009, the rate for CHL holders is 25 per 100,000 CHL holders. The rate for the general public over 21? 383 per 100,000.

of the Wisconsin mess drew me in but this forum is pretty interesting. Considering in the South everyone is pro gun its interesting to post with the city mouse crew where that is not quite the case..

8. You're cherry picking.

Availability of guns and ammo to concealed handgun licensees equals availability to the entire population.

Making them scarce for everyone is the only way to go.

50 state ccw, including removing laws in chicago and NJ that restrict ammo and gun transport (except by the bribe paying).

Really this is how things are going to go, the days of the gun control = crime control lie are over. DC and S Chicago stand as monuments to that failure.
