A former Beaver Dam tavern manager has been charged with threatening a patron with a loaded gun.

He is charged with a felony count of threatening to injure and misdemeanor offenses of intentionally pointing a firearm, operating a firearm while intoxicated, battery and disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, Dionysius confronted a man with a loaded gun inside of The Cellar bar on Jan. 3.

Witnesses said Dionysius was upset with the man whom he believed was responsible for several break-ins on New Year's Day at the Rowell Street tavern, according to the complaint.
