Armed Businessman Fires at Would-Be Robbers
Joel Salame, 30, and Dionicio Torres, 24, were arrested after allegedly fleeing Abreu’s notary shop Monday. Though Salame and Torres are only charged with one robbery, police expect to charge the two men with at least eight robberies, most of which occurred from Aug. 24 to Aug. 30 in Reading.

Good situational awareness - check
Handgun staged and ready - check
Lawful armed response meeting criminal intent - check
No innocent bystanders injured - check
Criminal taken into custody - check

Based on the police statements I'd have a different title for the story though.

6. Probably the same thing that was so valuable...
... at the Subway and the Whataburger restaurants in AZ where the employees were herded into the coolers and executed after the robberies (late 90s time frame; those are two that stuck in my memory).

You're a fool if you trust your life to the good intentions of a criminal.

9. ... and Brown's Chicken and Lane Bryant
near Chicago.

Two more massacres where the victim didn't resist and trusted and trusted the criminals, ("because they only want your money, so give it to them ...") while they were led to the back, tied up and shot in the back of the head.

Thanks to Illinois law though none of the victims had the choice of resisting. Imagine the carnage if one of them had tried to resist!

Oh wait, they all got killed anyway. Never mind.

No witnesses - so it took over 12 years to find the Brown's chicken killers and the Lane Bryant shooter is still out there with one, very nervous witness that survived being shot in the neck.
