Driver shot at by mysterious gunman

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - A driver was shot at by a mysterious gunman at around 2:30am on Saturday.

The Massachusetts State Police media relations office notified 22News that someone shot at a dark blue Chevrolet Impala on Route 91 in Longmeadow about a half mile from the Connecticut line.

Luckily the bullets missed the driver and his passenger.

What the state police need now are witnesses to the shooting.

12. Talk about a non-story

An unidentified party reportedly fired on a car, but missed both occupants, and apart from that, nobody knows anything.

It'd be nice if the article described how it was established that a shooting even took place in the manner described. For all I can tell from the article, the occupants of the Impala might be fabricating the story in some manner, since there's no mention of damage to the car, expended cartridge cases recovered at the scene, or any other physical evidence to corroborate their claims. (I'm not suggesting that they are fabricating the incident, I'm complaining that the article is so short on detail.)
