1. For one thing...
they don't beat their meat over how noble they are every time they kill an animal for fun....

4. Don't look now
but your ignorance on this topic is showing.

The goal of the RMEF is not to kill elk, but to establish the range and habitat of elk so that activities, such as hunting, viewing, etc. can be undertaken for years to come.

7. Jeeze, fly
If you're that gosh-darn worried about elk, why kill any at all?

9. I'm not worried about them at all
and thanks to the efforts of groups like the RMEF I will not worry about them for a long time to come, perhaps even lifetimes.

12. I see your tactic now...
if I just repeat the same bullshit over and over again, I'll win the argument. Whatever works for you, Bench.

6. MrB doesn't like hunting.
I've seen as much in the posts.

Yes, conservation mistakes have been made and there are a minority of bad hunters.

But let's give some respect to those who are sincerely trying to conserve and manage habitat and wildlife.

13. Agreed
All hunters contribute in a small way when buying their licenses and tags. I know of no state or federal license or tag that doesn't have some part of the fee earmarked for conservation and education programs.

Unfortunately, we don't all have millions in disposable cash to contribute. Kudos to those who donate what they can for game preservation projects such as this!
