I have been waiting for a hybrid or electric true full size SUV ever sine I sold my Bronco

I have 2 very large dogs - I have to hope none of them will get sick or we are ordered to evacuate since they don't fit in our small passenger car...

2. Mercedes has a diesel...

Call the Blue-Tec Diesel on the E320. They are suppose to put it on the Jeep Grand Cherokee this year. It think it would a good alternative as you could run this vechile on bio-diesel. It is not in the market, but it is something you can consider....

3. They need to put it in a minivan and a light pick-up.

That might, just maybe, save Chrysler's ass. The first US automaker to produce a fleet of diesels and plug-in hybrids survives. The rest get to join Studebaker and TWA in the land of the dead corporations.

6. i was looking at the honda insight--and can only find a 2006 that is

150 miles from me. what the heck happened to the insight? discontinued? it was "affordable" and got great mpg!

anyone know where the insight went?
