Yucca Mountain chief predicts application in 2008, dump by 2020

WASHINGTON (AP) - The official who oversees Yucca Mountain said Friday that he expects the Energy Department to submit a license application for the nuclear waste dump during the 2008 fiscal year and open the facility in Nevada by 2020. <snip>
