1. We're already having summer temps here in South Texas
over 100F for more days than I care to recall this month, not a drop of rain in almost 80 days. Considering our "wet" season is Jan-March, unless we get rain soon, we're toast.

3. I lived through a 90+ day Texas drought
I was broken by a brief nighttime shower

I heard the rain on the roof but did not recognize what the sound was - it been dry for so long

I thought the plumbing burst

4. Snow and rain in the forecast for Lewiston, ID today. Doesn't sound
as crazy as it is. The Lewis-Clark valley is low elevation and is sometime called "The Banana Belt" for the warm weather. Up on the surrounding prairies it's still nasty. It's like late February in most years.
100 miles to the north, Spokane, WA hasn't hit 60 degrees yet. Way colder, nastier and wetter this year. MY favorite bass fishing areas aren't even close to fishable yet, and won't be for quite awhile.

5. I have to go to Spokane next week. I live in Oswego County, NY,
and it bums me out that it was snowing in Spokane this morning!
