NHK just said the tsunami that hit Fukushima NPP was 14 meters high.
Twice as high as initial estimates.

Truth, CYA, or something in between?

5. Follow the money
TEPCO talked to the GOP. The GOP talked to the teabaggers. The teabaggers prayed to God to punish the Japanese for Pearl Harbor. God did the earthquake.

You see? One can easily construct impeccable logic to explain these things.

8. look at this video, look at the surrounding area, can somone explain why very little tsunami damage to
the trees, the entire surroundings, look so intact, and this plant was ON the ocean

we all have seen the horrible mud death aftermath pictures/videos, some so many kilometres inland

this doesnt look at all like those

10. The shape of the coastline has a lot to do with it.
Sendai is (was) on the inner curve of a bay, at the mouth of a series of valleys leading inland. All that concentrated the water, piled it up and channeled it far inland.

By contrast, Fukushima is on a flat piece of coastline, which didn't concentrate the energy of the water.

12. At Hiroshima, trees were found standing upright at ground Zero
The basic theory is that the trees had no where to fall i.e. the pressure was right on top of the trees not the side of the trees. A Similar event occurred when Tunguska event, in that case the meteor is believe to have broken up right over the tree and like Hiroshima the pressure was straight down, so the trees had no where to go.

For more on the Tunguska event:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event

Remember when the wave hit the land, it could no longer push water in front of it, thus the wave was "dieing" as it hit land. Sooner or later, if the wave was tall enough, nothing would have been underneath the top part and it would have fallen straight down. Thus it is possible for the event to be like Hiroshima or Tunguska i.e. pressure only from above not the sides. All depends on the size of the wave and how it broke up. A 42 foot tall wave needs a lot of support and once that support was gone, it would collapse straight downward.
