$1.6 million an hour in profits for Shell Oil
When it comes to oil company profits, nothing is shocking. Still....

The Guardian headline certainly puts it in perspective.

2. This is criminal. We are all paying for those profits with our tax dollars,
with our polluted water, land and air; with our high gas prices; with subsidies to corporations who don't pay a damn thing in taxes; with our citizen's shortened and poverty ridden lives.

While we struggle to survive, they rob us blind and our federal government gives them a hand with the theft.

Talk about redistributing the wealth.

Americans are such patsies.

3. Their profits should be taxed to zero until the problem of global warming is fully contained
As long as the oil companies are polluting the atmosphere with their petroleum products, they should spend all of their profit cleaning it up.

4. Armagedion Times.....
It is time to rise up. Shell makes this much an hour yet, the energy companies in Texas are unable to deliver natural gas to over 25,000 citizens in New Mexico today as we again get into sub zero temps.
