BP's Energy Outlook to 2030 -- Demand For Renewables to Grow, Oil to Decrease
In a newly released report on global energy, BP plc predicts emerging economies to dominate energy growth in the coming years, and renewable energy to out-pace oil by 2030.

The report, BP Energy Outlook 2030, projects the benchmark for world energy growth to be set by countries like India, China, Brazil, and Russia -- a "base case" or most-likely scenario given the evidence at hand. While fossil fuels will not be completely out of the picture, the demand for them will not grow as rapidly as that for renewable energy.
