I attended some biofuels talks at the ACS meeting in Philadelphia this week.

I'd discuss it further, but I'd just end up feeling like I'm gathering around the solar pool light getting plastered with Mom while toasting - with deep glasses of Paraquat and Round up - my "No Till" fantasies and delusions while pissing - although the act of pissing will replace some of that nitrogen that won't be bioavailable after we've ripped every last bit of carbon out of the ground as we wipe out the microbiological community that has sustained our land for centuries - on the structure of our soils.

We at least all that glycophosphate is phosphorus. It will keep some phosphorus in the ground, which will be very important, especially after we're done building our migratory bird grinders.

2. Well, it's your own fault.

You might have built a collection of fluid powered bird grinders around your yard and prevented what happened.

You might have yanked all the berry bushes in the neighborhood and subjected them to hydrolysis and fermentation - you might have messed with the crystal structure of the cellulose ionic liquids. (That was a fun talk, not in the "biofuels" section - but I just had to look. It's cutes when respectable scientists tailor their talks to VC interests.)

But no...

Birds can be prevented you know.

Realistic talks about energy can't be prevented.
