Hey, what's $13.9 Trillion among friends?
The FDIC released the http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/examinations/supervisory/insights/sisum09/si_sum09.pdf">Summer 2009 Supervisory Insights(pdf) today. The report includes a table showing all of the government support announced in 2008 and early 2009. The maximum capacity is $13.9 trillion.

Unfortunately, DU doesn't allow tables. The table appears on page 6 in the link above, or you can visit http://www.calculatedriskblog.com/2009/06/139-trillion-total-maximum-government.html">Calculated Risk or http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2009/06/breakdown-of-feds-139-trillion.html">Mish's blog for an html version and more accessible footnotes.
