2. Unless something miraculous happens...
...the demand for College Teachers will not be there. Almost all public institutions are under hiring freezes. If they do hire out of necessity they hire part-time, adjunct faculty that make $30K not $52K. As it is now, legislators are saying, "See, they can get by on tight budgets" and budgets are unlikely to be restored to pre-recession levels. In the meantime, education is suffering, tuitions are rising, and infrastructure is deteriorating.

These numbers have very little credibilty in my book. The amount of changes occuring globally could easily throw a monkey wrench into everything.

That's the problem in general. If I want to get retrained, for what do I retrain? We are all insecure. Hence the problems with the stock market.
