299th Post: A Question for RealPlayer Users
Then I'm going to bed. I'll read answers in the morning and kick off my birthday with my 300th post!

Here it is. I downloaded and paid for RealPlayer. I set it up and got it all squared away (at least I think I did)... but I can't get talk radio on it! I can't get KGO (which is listed as simply 810 and when I put that into my list of set stations, it said it couldn't find the file. When I tried to go to KGO's website using MS Internet Explorer and go to the instructioins "Click Here to listen live" it never came on.

How do I use real Player (or cAN I use it) to access the shows on KGO?! Any advice? I'm on DSL and probably have a firewall in place, but I'm not certain if that is what is wrong with it.

Help!

Being able to listen to Bernie Ward would be the greatest birthday present EVER!

309

See you all tomorrow!

1. You need to have popups enabled to get the stream....
If you have some program that is blocking pop-ups, the stream won't work. I couldn't get KGO online till I figured that out.

2. Forget RP and the KGO site.
Use this link. It will start WMP. Add it to a WMP playlist or move it to quick launch.

3. Any Program or website
thats makes you disable your pop-up blocker to use it or view it is not worth having. Pop-ups Suck. Pop-ups are one great way for scum sucking company's to install spyware on your machine. Not only that they are a very annoying piece of crap. And yes there are sites that you can go in and pop-ups will install garbage on your machine without you having to click on it or knowing it!
