Where's Wisconsin?
I just watched This week and Fox Sunday. Wisconsin was no where to be found. WTF? As the crowds grew in Egypt the cameras multiplied. In the good ol USA they don't really want you to think that citizen action can be effective. They are hoping that if the cameras go away the crowds will too.

Did I miss coverage anywhere or is it just vanishing. If it is going away we need to press the media outlets to go back to where the important stories for American workers are.

1. The Wisconsin story supports people and popular opinion--it's business unfriendly
Who do you think pays for the advertising? Archer's Daniels Middle School Teachers?

This ain't Kansas anymore, Toto.

3. Are the sickouts still going on?
If so, we're likely to see more coverage of this story as time goes on. I figure the next time it appears in the news will be when Walker lays off a big bunch of public employees, and you'll see stories on what those layoffs mean for Wisconsin citizens.

4. Don't count on it.
Meanwhile, 50k people gathered yesterday to hear Michael Moore in Madison. There were smaller protests all across the state. Eau Claire, for example, met 200 itinerant teabaggers with 2,000 local demonstrators & the local paper gave it 2 paragraphs, illustrated only with pics of the 'baggers.
