Fox News is trying to destroy us.
Right now they have a "special report" about how the Democratic Party is divided over the war and that we are trying to mask our leftist extremism by placing the more radical anti-war speakers in non-primetime slots. They were sighting scare tactic statistics like "9 out of 10 Democratic delegates were against the war in Iraq" and that more radical speakers were getting more applause than John Edwards.

Now they have a report about how Democrats are bad for black voters and that Democrats are the traditional party of racism. By the way, did Sherman promise the 40 acres and a mule, or was that Grant?

How are these stories worthy of "special reports"? How can we let them snipe us like that? Sure, traditionally Democrats WERE the party of white racism, but that ended with the New Deal and the Dixiecrat split. So why do we let them get away with this? Is there ANYTHING we can do to counter them?

I don't mean to create a "Left Wing" Fox News (that would be lowering ourselves to their level), but is there anything besides that?

3. Now Shit Hume
Said that Kerry voted to "de-fund" the Iraq War with his no on the $7 Billion vote.

He has a columnist from the Boston Globe saying Kerry likes to be "fuzzy" and that "he has a lack of courage" when it comes to sticking to an issue.

I can't believe these assclowns.

6. Now you're catching on, i.e., I can't believe these assclowns.
Brit Hume was the idiot who said soldiers were more likely to die in California then they were to die in Iraq.

But of course he forgot to take in the math about how many Americans were in California compared to Iraq when he quoted death figures.

By the way do you run around saying the sky is falling?

9. Well, of equal importance
They just played a clip of Rudy Guilliani saying, to cheers from the media at his press conference, that he "doesn't need Michael Moore to tell me about September 11th".

11. 9 out of 10 dems DID oppose the war in Iraq! Why is that radical?
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 05:46 PM by eaprez
Why is everything thats in opposition to the administration considered "radical"? How come their position on stem cell research isn't called radical? How come their wanting to develop 'first strike nuclear weapons' isn't called radical? How come their big tax cuts with a huge deficit isn't called radical? Actually they're not radical - they're extremists. Nothing wrong with being a radical - being radical got voting rights for women, civil rights legislation, etc, etc, etc, we must not continue to let them hijack the language.

13. Freeper brains
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 05:51 PM by joefree1
A mid-level executive was so frustrated at being passed over for promotion year after year, that, in frustration, he went to a brain-transplant center in the hope of raising his I.Q. 20 points.
After a battery of physical and psychological tests, he was told by the center's director that he was an acceptable candidate.
"That's great!" the executive said. "But I understand that this procedure can be really expensive."
"Yes, sir, it can," the director replied. "An ounce of accountant's brain for example, costs one thousand dollars; an ounce of an economist's brain costs two thousand; an ounce of a corporate president's is forty-five thousand. An ounce of a Freeper's brain is seventy-five thousand dollars."
"Seventy-five thousand dollars for an ounce of a Freeper's brain?? Why on earth is that?"
"Do you have any idea," the director asked, "how many Freepers we would have to kill?"

14. Freeper porch
A poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks, wanting to earn some money, started canvassing a well-to-do Republican neighborhood for work. He went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if there were any odd jobs for him to do.
"Well, I was getting ready to paint my porch," he said, "how much will you charge me?"
The boy, without looking about, responded, "How about $10.00?"
The man agreed and told the lad that the paint and other materials that he might need were in the garage. The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, "Does that poor boy realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?"
Chuckling to himself the greedy Republican replied, "Well, he was standing right on it. I guess he's desperate for cash."
A short time later, the boy came to the door to collect his money.
"You're finished already?" the Republican asked.
"Yes," the boy replied, "and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats."
Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $10.00 and handed it to the lad.
"And by the way," the boy added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."
