5. I wont be able to vote, the age factor but I plan to support the nominee
but to me Kucinich is the best. In fact, I think we're in the need for a progressive president, Kucinich has got my views, I was leaning towards him in June, and when I heard he was talking to these longshoremen about Taft-Hartley, I was like thats my candiate for sure. He always has been the only candiate to vote no to the patriot act and IWR.

3. Fine. But we'll expect your vote in November
No matter who the nominee is. The stakes are too high for fringe, third party crusades.

6. I won't say "expect", but "hope for"....
I'm supporting Dean. If Kucinich is the candidate, I'll support him. All I ask is that other suporters pladge to do the same.
ANY of them are better than Bush (even the ones I don't like).

8. *taps* hes indicated that he will support the nominee
as will I. Now honestly if its someone I really like, like Kucinich who is my top candiate, I will do a lot of work for, now say its Lieberman, I'll just vote for him in the mock election and tell people to vote for him NOT Bush.

9. You have nothing to apologize for. Don't let the PC police intimidate you
We have moderators here who enforce the rules. It's not actually appropriate for someone to publicly scold you for what 'they' see as a violation. Rule violations are supposed to be addressed by clicking 'Alert'.

13. thats a neat quote but heres a quote that really tells me personally
What being for Kucinich is all about. A friend of mine here has this as her quote for her Yahoo profile and I just love it.

"Some men see things as they are and say, 'Why?' I dream of things that never were and say, 'Why not?'"
Robert F. Kennedy, after George Bernard Shaw

Doesnt that perfectly explain what we are all about, some people ask why, and we see what could be and say why not. BTW Bobby along with the late Wellstone, and even FDR are my 4 great heroes, the 4th is Dennis Kucinich.

15. yeah
im actually a raving, foaming at the mouth leftist:):)

i believe some things are correct to do, the state has an obligation to meet certain needs...it is wrong to not champion those causes...so in my mind only certain politicians are correct

I am 100% against the modern miltarization of thought...it sickens me...so i am a Kucinich supporter

"And Kind Uncle Sam feeds ten trillion in change into the total combat video game......it all makes perfects cents...expressed in dollars and cents, pounds shillings and pence" Roger Waters:)

14. I too
found myself being too harsh on Padraig, but unlike you I decided that he really doesn't care about the issues, or the poor people in this country, or slave labor for WalMart overseas, or I could go on and on. He just wants to win...he's all frontal lobe. So retract your apology and join me in opening people's eyes to Kucinich full heartedly. I am a democratic socialist like you (I even read http://www.wsws.org everyday), but I'm not sure if I will in fact support whoever is the Democratic nominee. I can't take the chance and commit to a candidate who may be part of the people who tell Bush what to do, the REAL powerful people in this...world. I don't futile gestures. Most of the Democratic candidates would lose against Bush. In fact, I think Kucinich is the only one who CAN win. If only you people out their who support and completely agree with Kucinich, yet think he's unelectable for some media prescribed reason would realize the irony of your logic and vote your heart!!!, then we could really win this thing. But I don't see that happening. Well I do, but the fact that the media doesn't let people see it, frankly might be too much for the Kucinich campaign.

I'll say this, I "may" support Dean if he gets the nomination, but I want to see some integrity first. And hear some real progressive assurances from his mouth. Supporting gays and yet supporting assault rifles doesn't cut the tomatoe for me.

17. i agree with you 100%
i apologized because i felt some wrongness that came directly from me...the person in question was still wrong, imo...but i have to accept responsiblity for what I said

and yes, either the democrats will let the left wing rule, or eventually we will take our ball (and the 20+% of our democratic core vote) and play somewhere else

Dennis would beat Bush...and these "polls' aren't worth the paper they are written on (polls with over 3% MOE are inherently UNSCIENTIFIC...any college statistics class will say this)

but I will support Dennis the whole way thru...and I will vote for the Democratic candidate...i will give the party one more chance

20. I'm locking this thread....
DU rules prohibit "calling out" another member of DU. I would suggest that you PM the member in question, and express your apologies, rather than starting a thread. And welcome to DU. This is a good place for lefties.
