This POTUS Poll had appeared here a few times before.
And it's an actualizaton of what most here secretly long for, but don't dare believe. BELIEVE IT!

DemoChoice Web Poll: President Preference Poll - November
1 candidate will be elected with 4,115 ballots cast.

Table form | Chart form: First Round | Next Round | Final Round | Ballot Depth | How it works | DemoChoice Main Page

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 1 50%

Dennis Kucinich 1,851 (45.0%)

Howard Dean 1,428 (34.7%)

Wesley Clark 372 (9.0%)

Al Gore 116 (2.8%)

George W. Bush 113 (2.7%)

John Kerry 52 (1.3%)

Hillary Clinton 47 (1.1%)

Ralph Nader 45 (1.1%)

John Edwards 24 (0.6%)

Carol Moseley Braun 18 (0.4%)

John McCain 16 (0.4%)

Richard Gephardt 15 (0.4%)

Al Sharpton 14 (0.3%)

Joseph Lieberman 4 (0.1%)

Results Redistributed Votes (to these colors)
Joseph Lieberman Defeated

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this doesn't make sense, try reading the How it works page, or view the table form.
The dotted line represents the number of votes that guarantees victory (50% of counted votes).
In the first round, the first choices on each ballot are tallied.
No candidate has the number of votes needed to guarantee victory, so the last-place candidate (Joseph Lieberman) is eliminated. Ballots for that candidate are counted toward their next highest ranking.

As with last month, I got the notice to participate in the poll by email, and I have no idea of whoever else is on that distribution list. But skewed as the population may be, I don't believe the vote is rigged in any manner. But by presenting a graded choice (and in a form of IRV), it avoids the "Either/Or" mindset that seems to be fatal to Dennis.

Incidentally, the resulting Top Three matches my own EXACTLY.
