Graham: Bush Administration "lap dog for the special interests"
Sen. Bob Graham at the Tennessee Jackson Day Dinner:

"In the Democrats' America . . . President doesn't reach out to embrace teachers with one hand while he stabs them in the back with the other using a dagger made of vouchers."

"In the Democrats' America . . . our rivers, lakes and streams as well as our oceans will no longer be the personal septic tanks of irresponsible corporate polluters. The only oil we will see extracted from our beaches will be that which comes from bottles of sunscreen. The only exploration we will see in our national parks will come from children and tourists not from big oil companies."

"I stood up against George W. Bush . . . because on all of these issues America needs a watch dog and instead are getting a lap dog for the special interests and narrow minded."
