Schwarzenegger still a friend, says Kerry
"I like Arnold a lot and I understand completely what he is doing, and he has every right in the world to do it given that other people created the recall," the senator said. "But I'm not talking about Davis vs. Arnold, but California and the the recall. It has nothing to do with Arnold, but preserving the fairness and integrity of our electoral system."

1. It is bigger than Davis...
...it always has been--took the Dems a little too long to rally around this simple, understandable phrase. But it still may be time to save Davis, and not completely thumb our noses at Democracy.

3. Notice the Tom Hanks connection with Kerry?
Hanks is totally against the recall, too, even though he and Schwarzenegger are on friendly terms.

Hanks is a great Dem and he and Spielberg are very close politically as well as personally. Their support will likely go to Kerry AND Clark.
