Dean working hard for unions and workers rights...
He visited Verizon workers today in Burlington to show his support to workers. By the looks of this article: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/030828/dcth048_1.html
Dean is intending to bust his butt to show unions and workers he's on their team. No resting for Dean after the Sleepless tour...he's going after union support now.

11. (nelson voice) "Ha ha!"
:nopity:

(we really need a sour grapes emoticon of some sort.. kinda like the Fruit of the Loom mascot, perhaps?)

I suspect that this is the same for many other Dean supporters.. when I see The Bat, I must chip-in another $25. All it takes is one email alerting me to its presence, and the moo-lah is on its way.

So.. how's your candidate doing with fundraising? :P

15. What's scary is that he posted a picture of himself and he's a middle-aged
man. I've yet to see a substantive criticism of Dean from him. He acts like he just learned to post photos...his attacks are nearly all juvenile pictures...

4. Looks like someone is mad that their candidate isn't working hard enough
And instead of directing their frustration towards their candidate's campaign they are misplacing it.

Grow up, already. Get on the ball and tell whomever you support to get OFF their ass and do something to EARN support and votes. Dean is so successful because he UNDERSTANDS that he's not entitled to anyone's vote, that he has to DO SOMETHING to earn it.

6. Keep Fightin Howard
Dean is not my candidate but I like him. He's bringing a lot of new faces into the process and thats great. I think there is a real chance he'll be our next president, so all I ask is that he doesn't forgot those people when in office.

Workers and labor unions have been getting screwed royally since the late 80's and could really use some help. If Dean wins in 2004, 2 major trade agreements will probably come before him and his administration (CAFTA and FTAA). Just please Gov. Dean make sure these agreements look like the Jordan Free Trade agreeement and not like NAFTA or the recent Chile and Singapore agreements. The Jordan Agreement is the model. It was basically was the first agreement to include workers' rights and labor/env. protections.

14. You mean the Dean committee photos?
The guys with the flippers are from a "Bog Swim" contest in the UK, and the others with tomatoes all over them are from the "Tomato fight" festival in Italy!

8. Labor doesn't buy the lie. They know Dean is "horrible on labor"
The other night I heard a big shot in labor respond to a Deanbot who had claimed Dean was good on labor by saying "That's not true. Dean is horrible on labor."

12. um, no
Dean is solid on labor, just not an isolationist like DK. you think the AFL-CIO would give him the WELLSTONE award if he was "horrible" on labor? Also, labor groups in IOWA are starting to take out ads in favor of Dean.

Dean is doing just fine with labor.
