Herman Cain's political moment

..as explained by a Republican

“That Cain’s candidacy was taken seriously for longer than a nano-second in a time of genuine crisis for the country raises fundamental questions about the health of the political process and the Republican party,”

—Steve Schmidt, campaign manager for Arizona Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid.

2. I for one am sad to see him go. He was my favourite of all the GOP
candidates, kind of like all the rest of them rolled into one. He had the Perry brain freeze, the Bachmann foreign policy (and everything else) gaffe, and the Newt philandering. The man did it all and I for one take his hat off to him. A Cain-Obama debate would be an instant comedy classic!
