I Voted In My Own Special Way

Today I went to vote for president for the first time in my life. And it just so happened that this was the most important election in our history. Never before had someone had the choice of an african-american on the ballot. Thus this was a very special event for me and I was compelled to dress accordingly, celebrating in my own way.



I am wearing my graduation gown, covered in a vest I made out of Twix wrappers. I am wearing a tie made out of candy wrappers too along with some necklaces I just threw on to make myself look crazy. I made a staff with a wooden pole and a crystal ball wrapped in duct tape and while I was standing in line, i played music from "The Matrix"; right at the part where neo discovered he was the one. My whole purpose was to be humorously dramatic and I amused a lot of people who were standing in line for an hour.

But the punchline came right after i got done voting. Someone asked me "who are you voting for?" Now personally I'm voting for Obama but just to be funny I said "no way dude! I don't want to draw attention to myself!" lol!
