The Unasked Corrolary to the Clinton VP Question
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 09:31 PM by Bonn1997
I'm seeing all these polls that about 40% of Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama if she's not the VP. I expect that number to go down substantially but more importantly, why are there no polls asking Obama supporters anything like "Will you campaign less enthusiastically for Obama if Hillary's the VP?"? I think the media really wants to push Hillary onto the ticket because she will make things more exciting.

1. Do be pigs till the very last possible moment of ugliness.
Vicious in victory, the hallmark of the Obama campaign. All entitlement, not a shred of graciousness.

3. Question
First, for the record, I'm entirely undecided on who the VP should be. I'm not against it being Hillary--I just don't want the media or polling to play any role in the decision.

My question, though: Would anything satisfy you short of 100% of Obama supporters saying Hillary is perfect and must be the VP? If so, what? I'm really curious (a) why you care what some Obama supporters (not Obama himself) say and (b) what exactly you *want* them to say.

2. Probably because the majority of Obama supporters realize what
is at stake and will do everything they can to keep crazy mccfuckstick out of the WH. There have been polls on DU asking that question, although none recently.

4. Yes they should and yes we can. ( Georgia going Blue?)
I think you are right about the media wanting to add Hillary to the ticket so that the race is more exciting, but I also think Hillary would make an excellent V.P. I started out supporting Sen. Clinton. I worked in her Atlanta office daily and helped organized events. Of course a lot of people think it will help bring this party together, but I think they would make a team unsurmountable by any opposition. I think they would crush John McCain in the fall and go on to have one of the most productive administrations in History. That is why I stated dreamticket08.com. I started this site months ago before we ever knew who the nominee would be. I'm 18 years old, a student at The University of Georgia, and black. Not your Typical political enthusiast right? I'm about to start a major campaign in Georgia for Senator Obama and I need your help. Yes, I'm going to try my very best to win the state of Georgia for Sen. Obama. I know many of you are like WHAT! Georgia will not go Blue or will they vote for Obama. Yes they will and Yes we can. I'm not just pulling this out of my head. I've spent the better part of this year planning strategies to win my state. We in Georgia are as eager for change as any other state. As Sen. Obama says, this is our time and this is our moment. This is our moment to make sure that Sen. Obama delivers on the change that he has so eloquently campaigned for. If you would like to help or know more about my plans. Email me or visit my website. By tomorrow, I will have a new section dedicated totally for my summer campaign to turn Georgia Blue. Please also let me know what you think about this Idea. I'm open to any suggestions you may have.

Thanks,
Glenn Stegall
