Is this the newest tactic by HRC?
On MSNBC it's not the pledged delegates, the super delegates, the popular vote total ... now it's that Hillary won more electoral votes in the states she won than Obama. How desperate is her game??!!??

3. That is flawed and disingenuous, just like her and her campaign
That has been shot down by anyone with half of a brain. Obama actually polls better than her vs. McCain in many of these big states. She and the media think everyone is just that stupid to buy her garbage. May 6th is D-day.

4. It's futile. She's asking for a winner-take-all approach to the states.
I'm guessing she'll be first in line to volunteer to review procedures for 2012.

5. If O polls better afterJune 3rd no popular vote/big state/electoral vote argument will work for her

6. Heaven forbid she look at that election team of hers
She'll just allow them to tweak the message about how this is a coronation, resistance is futile, lie back and enjoy it.

I sincerely hope this is the dying gasp of the DLC "handler." Her voting record certainly isn't as bad as they are making it seem, and it looks like she's the third candidate they're packaging into a bland nobody who will never, ever rock the status quo boat.

Three strikes, guys. You're out. Time to go back to your cushy corporate lobbying jobs*.

*yes, that's where DLC campaign fucker uppers come from.

9. They simply make the point that states HRC has won are DEm states with many electoral votes, not
red states with few electoral votes, like the majority of the states Obama has won.

Yes, it's apples and oranges, but there's some validity. First, electoral votes ARE winner-takes-all. The person with the highest votes gets ALL that stste's EV. Obama trounces Hillary in states whose EV Obama has no possibility of winning -- MS, AZ, UT, WY, SC, GA, etc. And even if he were to WIN those states in the GE (which he won't) they amount to a mere handful of the votes necessary to win.

But Hillary trounces Obama in states the Democrats MUST, can, and frequently do win -- OH, NY, CA, FL, MI, NJ, MA, etc. HRC has proved to be more popular in them than BO, so she's the best bet to win their electoral votes, and these states alone have nearly enough to do the trick.

Another way to put it, If Hillary could count only on the electoral votes of the states she's won, and Obama could count only on his, Hillary would BY FAR have the better chance of being elected President.

10. Evan Bayh started floating this concept over the weekend
It's a new tactic that they want to use to try to convince super-delegates to align with Hillary.

Utter nonsense, does anybody really think that the Dems will lose Calif if Hillary is not the nominee??? Calif would really go for McCain if Obama is the nominee??? What HAVE they been smoking lately???
